I'm Florian — an Applied AI Engineer based in Innsbruck and Vienna, building web applications, mobile apps, and hardware prototypes. I run Flof Codes e.U., a small freelance practice focused on getting things done well.
These days I work AI-native — mostly with Claude Code. Almost every line of code I ship runs through an agent loop I architect, review, and own. That lets me move faster, go deeper, and ship more — across the full stack: frontend, backend, mobile, and when a project calls for it, custom circuit boards and firmware too.
I've been building and maintaining software in production since 2012. The BSc in Computer Science came later — not for the degree, but for the deeper understanding. I'm now working on my MSc in Medical Informatics at TU Vienna.
Outside of code, I'm a parkour and athletics trainer, chairman of a sports association in Innsbruck, and generally someone who can't stop learning new things. That same curiosity drives how I work: I go deep, I care about quality, and I ship.
Open-source head-mounted vestibular feedback system for balance training. Custom PCB, ESP32-S3 firmware, dual IMU sensors, bone conduction audio, and a Flutter companion app. Built as my BSc thesis — and continuing into my MSc.
Smartphone-based postural balance assessment. Turns any modern phone's IMU into a portable measurement instrument — running a four-condition protocol inspired by clinical mCTSIB, with all signal processing on-device. Privacy-first, optional anonymous cohort comparison. Live on iOS and Android.
AI-powered spaced repetition platform that dynamically reformulates every review and tracks cognitive depth using Bloom's Taxonomy — from basic recall to critical analysis. Built on FSRS scheduling with modality-aware intervals. Open source, self-hostable, AI-native. Entirely AI-driven development.
Event management system in production use across Tyrolean music schools. Multi-tenant SaaS with PDF, Word, and Excel export. Now in version 2.0, optimized for mobile and desktop.
Website, billing system, and coach attendance tracking for a parkour association in Innsbruck. Custom-built everything from the ground up.
