I'm Florian, an Applied AI Engineer based in Innsbruck and Vienna, building web applications, mobile apps, and hardware prototypes. I run Flof Codes e.U., a small freelance practice focused on getting things done well.
These days I work AI-native, mostly with Claude Code. I architect, review, and own every line that ships. That lets me move faster, go deeper, and ship more across the full stack: frontend, backend, mobile, and when a project calls for it, custom circuit boards and firmware too. That stack reaches all the way down to the infrastructure: everything runs self-hosted on two servers (one on hot standby), with my own mail server and a full backup chain behind it.
I've been building and maintaining software in production since 2012. The BSc in Computer Science came later, not for the degree, but for the deeper understanding. I'm now working on my MSc in Medical Informatics at the Medical University of Vienna.
Outside of code, I'm a parkour and athletics trainer, chairman of a sports association in Innsbruck, and generally someone who can't stop learning new things. That same curiosity drives how I work: I go deep, I care about quality, and I ship.
